It was March 1991 when the actual management of Raio Gas Station began. At that time, it already was bearing the Shell trademark. It was an old station and time left its marks. In addition, it was inadequate to modern demands of consumers and a hard work to recover it was to be made. Slow but steadily, a hard job was done to settle new image and efficiency and Raio Gas Station is now a local reference of products and services quality.
Cachoeira Gas Station has been incorporated in 1995. It is located in Cachoeira do Bom Jesus District, also in Florianopolis and brandishing the Shell trademark flag. There was an old wish of Cachoeira residents to have a gas station in the area and it was born a success. The station both fulfilled the needing of fuels and quality services.
In 1998 the first Refinados Caffč, the exclusive convenience store of Raio Network, showed off in Abraćo Gas Station, still with Shell trademark. With the new unity new partners with new ideas were aggregated. In 1997, another Shell Station was incorporated when the Ressacada Gas Station was built in Rio Tavares District. Now, the southern part of Santa Catarina Island was benefited with Raio Network. It was the moment the name REDERAIO (that means Raio Network) was crated.
For strategic reasons, two years later, Abraćo Gas Station was sold. In its place, starting a new partnership, the Ponta das Canas Gas Station was buit with Petrobrįs Trademark flag.
Another Petrobras partnership was incorporated in January 2003, when Ilha Gas Station was put under REDERAIO management. It took one year to develop and get authorities approval of a refurbishing project. It is currently the most beautiful unity of REDERAIO.
Still in the end of that year came the first unity with Texaco Flag. It is now called Kobrassol Gas Station and is also the first unity out of Florianopolis municipality. It took more than a year to reshape it to attend the network patterns.
REDERAIO is much young. But our history already shows that we are a good natured youngster. Moreover, keeping this personality we plan to grow up.
